elcome to the family of Mt. Sylvan Preschool! We look forward to working with you, and encourage the direct and timely communication of any concerns or suggestions. We hope that you will be actively involved in your child's progress, and encourage your participation in our program. The staff is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching experience for your child. We take this responsibility serioiusly and accept it joyfully. Our Commitment At Mt. Sylvan Preschool, we understand and recognize the individual needs of each child. Our main objective is to provide a positive atmosphere which will promote the social, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and emotional growth of children. Learning experiences appropriate to the developmental age of each group are provided daily. Children need to feel good about themselves! Positive guidance techniques are used by our staff to enhance a child's feeling of self-worth. We help them make sense of the world around them and enable them to have an abundant life, "full, till it overflows." We are sensitive and responsive to the needs and feelings of each employee. We encourage professional growth among our employees and support them in reaching their full potential by providing a supportive atmosphere. The care that we provide helps children develop a sense of worth and confidence in themselves, trust in others, and an eagerness to learn. Our Prayer Lord, we know that we cannot do everything for our children; Help us to do what we can, the best that we can. Help us to remain honest and open to each other's needs and to be there with loving support for the uniquely special people our children are becoming.
