United Methodist Men (UMM)

What We do:

Prayer Breakfast:

We are a group of men who meet every Thursday morning to witness Christ as Lord and Savior in our lives, through Discipleship, Evangelism and the word of God. We study the Bible through various Bible studies, meeting in the Action Classroom every Thursday morning from 7:30 am-9:00 am. The first Thursday of each month, we meet at Silver Spoon Restaurant at 8:00 am for breakfast. For further information, please contact Terry Rhodes at Terryrhodes2@gmail.com.

Peanut Sale Fundraiser:

Every year the men of the church roast and sell peanuts to raise money for various missions projects throughout the church and Durham.

To get involved, contact Larry Smith at (919) 471-2451.

Mt.Sylvan Saints Habitat Mission:

Mt Sylvan's Habitat for Humanity Group volunteers every Wednesday at various sites, usually meeting at church, then heading over to a work site. Contact Herb Cimburke (919-998-9345) to find out more about the Sylvan Saints and check out this link.
