Community Garden

“When you reap your harvest in your field and forget a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it. It shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

                                                                                                                        -- Deuteronomy 24:19

  • About the Community Garden

The Mt. Sylvan Community Garden exists as a place for people of all ages, abilities, races, and classes to come together as one community to learn and grow. The food produced by this garden will be spread widely across our church and local community as a way of meeting the hungers that we all share: the hunger for healthy food and the hunger for a community.
