More Than Neighbors
The "More Than Neighbors" racial reconciliation group was initiated by The Encouraging Place, founded by Regelyn "Reggie" Edwards. This group exists to foster racial harmony, empower women, and create spaces where every individual feels valued and heard.
Mt. Sylvan hosts members from multiple local churches. Aligned with the Methodist church's commitment to racial equity and justice, this group meets on the second Saturday of every month.
